The Men’s and Ladies Golfer of the Year is based on the handicap score of each monthly medal and closed championship result of each player.
9 best out of the 12 monthly medals results and the closed championship results are added together to get the total score.

The Monthly Medal Final is a prestigious event designed to reward consistent performance throughout the year. To maintain competitive balance and ensure broad participation, each qualification spot must be held by a unique player. Once a player has qualified, additional Monthly Medal wins will not create duplicate qualification positions.
A total of 12 different players will qualify in each grade for the Monthly Medal Final.
Men’s
Top 48 qualifiers go into the match play draw from the qualifier. Match Play qualifier dates can be viewed on the noticeboard in the Clubhouse.
$10.00 entry fee per player. No $10 refund for those that go into the Qualifier and don’t place in the top 48.
Each round of Match Play, players will use their GA Handicap on the day rounded up or down, (i.e. 10.4 play off 10, 10.5 play off 11).
Ladies
Minimum of 8 qualifiers to run the Ladies Matchplay Qualifier. Match Play qualifier dates can be viewed on the noticeboard in the Clubhouse.
